The start of the conference is almost here! Attendee check-in begins at 12 noon on Tuesday, 12 May 2015. Follow the signs to the Conference Center from the Embassy Suites Lobby. The NGS Conference registration desk is located on the upper level of the St. Charles Convention Center in the pre-function area.

If you pre-registered for the conference, simply go the check-in desk marked with the first letter of your last name during the hours listed below and collect your conference materials (bag, program, name tag, syllabus on flash drive, and print syllabus if you ordered one).

When you come to the registration desk to pick up your conference materials, join a tour to learn your way around the building and get answers to questions. St. Louis Genealogical Society volunteers will provide guided tours of the St. Charles Convention Center on Tuesday afternoon, 12 May, from noon to 7 p.m. The tour will end at the Society Showcase which will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

There will also be volunteers available to help with downloading the NGS app and answer app questions.

If you haven't registered for the conference, no worries. Registration will be available onsite at the St. Charles Convention Center beginning 12 noon on Tuesday, 12 May 2015.

Today is your last chance to pre-register and to purchase tickets for meals and tours.

There is still time to sign up for the Tuesday workshops. The BCG Education Fund workshop, Putting Skills to Work, runs from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and German Studies: Understanding German Records and Methodology runs from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Pre-registration for the NGS 2015 Family History Conference ends Wednesday, 29 April 2015, one week from today. Registration numbers are great, but there is still plenty of room for you.

The cost is $230 (member) or $265 (non-member) for full registration, or $115 for a single day registration. The conference includes four exciting days of more than150 lecture sessions, meals, and more than 75 different exhibitors.

The early bird registration discount ends tomorrow, Monday, 30 March. In addition to enjoying a $35 discount, only early birds have the opportunity to order a printed syllabus. Have you registered for the conference yet?  The deadline for the early bird discount and ordering a print syllabus is Monday, 30 March. After that date, the NGS member price will increase from $195 to $230 for all four days; the non-NGS member price will increase from $230 to $265, and only the flash drive syllabus will be available.

NGS is pleased to announce that early bird registration is now open for the 2015 Family History Conference! The conference, to be held in St. Charles, Missouri, is expected to be one of the best ever, with informative lectures, amazing exhibits, and lots of opportunities for networking with fellow genealogists.

The main mission of NGS is to "grow the genealogical community by providing education and training." One of the ways we accomplish this is through our annual conference. NGS conferences, long recognized as one of the premier conferences, has been held annually for thirty-seven years.
